I've been wanting to start a blog like this for quite some time now. I've had some really negative experiences with the CPD over the years that management in the Concord Police kept turning a blind eye to.

I think it's only fair for the public to be aware of some of the laws that the Concord Police violates on their citizens.

There's some officers within the Concord Police that shouldn't be permitted to work on the streets IMO. They cause more problems rather than resolving.

The CPD has lawsuits within their own department so what does that tell you?

Employees file lawsuits all of the time. This practice is nothing new! Now, can anyone cite examples (TRUE AND ACCURATE STORIES)????

I've worked for a large company for the last 15 yrs. and I've never heard of one employee filing a lawsuit against the company. Maybe it's just luck or the good co-workers and working environment we have.

It seems to happen quite often with the Concord Police though which doesn't surprise me considering the attitudes of some of their employees.

Good article by the Times concerning fraud within the CPD.

I WON,T BE SPECIFIC BUT IVE HEARD ABOUT OFFICERS LIE ABOUT STUFF. ITS FIRST HAND INFO. NEVER TRUST THEM WHEN THEY SAY THEY WANT INFO FROM YOU BECAUSE THEY WILL USE IT AGAINST YOU EVERY TIME AND THEY WILL LIE TO YOU AND SAY THEY WON,T

THATS WHY THEY HAVE LAWERS DUH

I grew up in concord. Back in the day i couldn't even drive down the street without being pulled over and herassed. But then i was young and very roudy and had most of what i got comeing to me. It was alot easier back then and the police didn't have to worry about being shot by some gang banger. Try and put yourself in their place for a min. Its a tough job. If they were a little tough on you then boo hoo. Get over it and thank them for what they ARE doing. And if you have a complaint, a real complaint, then your most likely Guilty of something. Give them a break and let them do their job. As long as you are not guilty stop tripping on them and be thankfull for them doing a job that none of you would or could ever do. Now if you want to start a blog against a corupt pd, Try getting pulled over in pitsburg. They are the ones that are dirty.

Well not everyone was roudy like you while growing up. Depending on what laws you were breaking, you probably deserved it. If not, then you're probably just like most other people out there and don't have the balls to stand up to the police when they're in the wrong.

Does anyone remember Officer Bishop? Even CPD has a dislike for him. NOBODY likes dirty cops.... Not even their own.

The name does sound familiar. Does he still work for the CPD?

I would tend to agree that Concord has turned into a very bad town. Having said that, whether the police like it or not, they are the law, and have to abide by laws. Should they continue, there is always an Egyptian movement that can occur in Concord. Not much difference if the police do not act as professionals with the public.
